Bill Powers Memorial Firecracker 4-Miler
Robert Lind, 24, of Brattleboro and Julianne Eagan, 37, of Guilford were the men's and women's overall winners at the 2010 Bill Powers Memorial Firecracker 4-Miler in Brattleboro. Lind finished in 22 minutes, 12 seconds, followed closely by Jesse Dunklee, 25, of Dummerston (22:22). Defending champion Jason Dunklee, 36, of Watertown, Mass., was third in 23:16.
Eagan's time of 30:09 was 51 seconds faster than runner-up Janice Bohonowicz, 50, of Greenfield, Mass.
Wednesday Night Fun Runs
RCR fun runs are held on Upper Dummerston Rd., starting and ending near the Brattleboro Country Club, every other Wednesday from April 28 through Sept. 1 at 6:30. There are three distances -- 1 mile, 2 miles and 3 miles.
